The Warehouse Group, Spark, Ricoh, and Google—all members of the Digital Boost Alliance—have joined forces to create a free IT consultation service aimed at empowering Kiwi small businesses to thrive in the digital world.
Dubbed the Small Business Consultation Service, the initiative aims to assist small businesses in optimising their technology infrastructure for efficient operations and future growth as technology advances. The service helps small businesses accurately evaluate their IT needs and provides access to high-quality hardware at significantly discounted rates.
“We listened closely to small businesses, and they told us the struggle is real when it comes to finding the right tech,” said Caroline Rainsford, Google NZ country director and Warehouse Group board member.
“They want to make sure their hard-earned money goes towards tools that truly work for them.”
“We’re here to help small businesses feel confident and empowered to make tech decisions that drive their growth,” she added.
Ricoh New Zealand general manager Roly Smoldon emphasises that digital transformation is crucial for advancing economic and social development. He also noted that the group was committed to empowering customers and communities with the skills and tools they need to succeed in the digital age.
“Ricoh’s involvement in the Digital Boost Alliance is a continuation of our focus on digitally accelerating Aotearoa and creating a better future for everyone,” Smoldon stated.
The Small Business Consultation Service was officially launched at an event hosted at Noel Leeming on Auckland’s North Shore. The group provides free appointments nationwide with a member of its technical team. Consultations are available in-store, online, or at the business premises.
