Pro-invest Group has become the first hotel operator in New Zealand to achieve Green Key certification for three of its fund hotels.

The certified properties include Voco Auckland City Centre, Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Queenstown. The certification aligns with the Group’s broader environmental, social, and governance (ESG) framework.

The One Earth, Countless Experiences strategy established a clear target: to ensure all 15 Pro-invest Group fund hotels across Australia and New Zealand achieve third-party sustainability certification by the end of 2025.
The three New Zealand hotels are operated by EVT Connect Hospitality, with teams reportedly fully committed to integrating the Green Key framework. “Our teams across all three properties have embraced the Green Key framework with genuine enthusiasm.”
Green Key is recognised internationally and aligns with Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) standards, also approved by IHG.
