Fintech firms Tax Traders and Taxi have been recognised as the winners of this year’s Best Places to Work awards.

Best Places to Work is a New Zealand initiative dedicated to celebrating and fostering exceptional employee experiences. Its mission is to establish Kiwi businesses as world-class leaders in workplace culture.

“All our judges agreed that Tax Traders and Taxi’s submission was faultless; this was also reflected in their employee survey results. The leadership team has made an undeniable commitment to their people, bringing joy and wellbeing to their professional and also personal lives. In what was an extremely tight contest, it was the exceptionally high survey rating their employees provided that made the difference,“ Best Places to Work said on its website.

Tax Traders and Taxi were both founded by husband-and-wife duo Josh and Nicola Taylor.

Chief Executive of Best Places to Work, Julie Gill, stated that this year’s awardees have established new benchmarks for creating work environments where employees can flourish.

“These companies are the foundation of the BPTW continuous improvement program and their efforts in building better workplaces are truly inspiring. Congratulations to all the finalists, and of course, to the winners,” Gill said.
