A four-bedroom, two-bathroom house located at 14 Benrogan Drive, Halswell, was constructed and will be auctioned on July 16, with all net proceeds donated to the charity.
The construction was finished in only three and a half months.
According to the listing on Harcourts Grenadier, the key features of the home include:
- Cathedral ceilings, feature walls, and custom built-in cabinetry
- A dedicated master retreat, with a walk-in wardrobe, ensuite, and ranch sliders opening to a west-facing courtyard
- Superb indoor-outdoor flow to a sheltered courtyard, an ideal entertainment spot and space for the kids to play
- Clever storage solutions and generous wardrobes with built-in cabinetry
- A flexible floor plan offers room to grow, work, and play.
“St John is one of the most hard-working non-government organisations that saves many, many New Zealanders’ lives,” Presquito said.
“They rely on the support of the community.”
While being funded by Health NZ and ACC in terms of its emergency ambulance services, Hato Hone St John depends on fundraising and donations to cover its full operating expenses.
