Customers of Pak’nSave, New World, and Four Square will soon be able to earn and redeem rewards through a new shared loyalty programme called Club+.

Foodstuffs North Island and Foodstuffs South Island have announced Club+, a new rewards programme set to launch across their major supermarket brands from June 15, with registrations opening today.

“Club+ is designed to reflect those changing shopping habits by giving people a single rewards and savings programme they can use across Foodstuffs brands,” acting chief customer officer Brendon Lawry said.

Under the Club+ programme, shoppers will earn Club+ Dollars on purchases at New World (0.75%) and Four Square (0.38%), with rewards redeemable across all three supermarket brands, including Pak’n’Save.

While Pak’n’Save customers will not accumulate reward points under the scheme, they will still be able to redeem Club+ Dollars, as well as access fuel discounts and personalised deals. Foodstuffs said the approach aligned with the chain’s focus on maintaining low prices rather than operating a traditional earn-and-redeem loyalty model.

“Instead of traditional rewards, Club+ at Pak’n’Save gives customers extra value through fuel discounts, personalised Club+ Picks, and the ability to spend Club+ Dollars earned at New World or Four Square on their Pak’n’Save shop,” a spokesperson said.

Club+ will be accessible digitally via the Club+, New World, and Pak’nSave apps, though customers will also have the option of using a physical card.

The introduction of Club+ will also mark the gradual retirement of the New World Clubcard. Lawry said, “The good news is Club+ is even better with greater flexibility because it can be used across New World, Pak’n’Save and Four Square.”

New World Dollar balances, shopping history, and customer preferences will be transferred to Club+, while the existing Clubcard programme will officially close on July 26.
