Sky Sport Now will raise the prices of its monthly and annual passes, effective March 21, 2025.
The price of a monthly pass will increase from $49.99 to $54.99, and the annual pass will go up from $499.99 to $549.99.
The bump in prices, which was communicated to current subscribers via an email from Sky TV, will be reflected in their billing.
For Monthly Pass subscribers, the new price will take effect on the first billing date after March 21. For Annual Pass users, the updated price will apply starting from the renewal date.
Sky also noted that the changes in prices will not impact the billing process. Customers will continue to be billed by Sky Sport Now as usual. The billing date will remain unchanged, and the primary payment method will stay the same.
In its website, Sky has stated that the upcoming monthly and annual pass increase will help bring “unrivalled sports line-up you expect from Aotearoa’s premier sports streaming service. It means we can keep investing in the best sports content, improving our technology, and making sure our customers get the best possible viewing experience.”
“The 2025 sports lineup includes major tournaments and leagues across rugby, cricket, netball, football, motorsports, tennis, and golf—so there’s a wide range of premium content throughout the entire year,” Sky Sport said.
The platform is also planning to launch a new feature that will enable users to catch up on live sports from the previous 24 hours. This enhancement helps improve the viewing experience by allowing fans to watch events they may have missed live.
