Qantas has announced a limited-time 72-hour sale offering deeply discounted fares for travel between New Zealand and Australia.
Prices start as low as $219.
Flights on sale cover departures from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown, heading to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The sale also features the recently introduced route from Auckland to Adelaide.
“We know our customers love when we offer sale fares across the Tasman,” Cam Wallace, chief executive of Qantas International, said.
“This sale not only includes great fares to some of the newest destinations to join the Qantas international network from New Zealand, such as Adelaide and Perth, but also has fares in Premium Economy on some flights to Sydney and Brisbane with our 787 Dreamliner now flying almost daily from Auckland.”
Qantas is also set to begin new direct services from Auckland to Perth on December 7, promising “seamless one-stop connections for New Zealanders to London, Paris and Rome,” according to the airline.
The new route will also provide easy access to Johannesburg via Qantas’ Perth to South Africa service.
Included in the sale, the Wellington to Brisbane route will be operated by Qantas’ new Airbus A220 aircraft, marking its debut on an international service.
The sale applies to flights on selected dates from January to October next year, with certain blackout periods in effect during this timeframe.
Customers can avail of the sale from today until midnight on Friday, or until all discounted fares are sold out beforehand.
