Meltwater launches AI-powered Mira

Meltwater is expanding its AI suite with the global introduction of Mira, a tool built to enhance media and communication strategies through smarter data interaction. The platform aims to take advantage of GenAI, chat interfaces, and AI agents to support real-time decision-making and analysis, with an early focus on the ANZ region.

Mira Replaces Dashboards with Dialogue

Mira’s design centres on simplicity, transforming traditional pain points in data-gathering tasks into real-time conversations. Users can handle brand monitoring and competitor tracking through direct interaction, with no configuration or expertise required.

Operates as a Teammate and Not Just an Assistant

Mira integrates directly into Meltwater’s platform, operating alongside users to provide real-time, contextual insights. The AI agent shortens traditional multi-step tasks into one seamless interaction, which allows faster data gathering and more precise data analysis.

Meltwater has also introduced Meltwater Copilot, a conversational AI extension available within Microsoft Teams and Office Suite. The integration ensures that Meltwater’s intelligence is accessible at key points of collaboration and decision-making across organisations.

Meltwater Copilot delivers the same AI-driven insights directly into the tools professionals use every day and is available to all Microsoft customers, empowering teams to act on intelligence without leaving their primary workflows.

Unifies Media Intelligence Ecosystem

The company is introducing major innovations with Mira and Meltwater Copilot, targeting the unification of media sources and the amplification of well thought out decisions. Meltwater’s platform integrates social media, editorial, and owned channel data to provide a holistic perspective on brand performance and media influence.

AI agents within the platform streamline data interpretation, freeing teams to focus on strategy and creativity.

Explore+ Platform Drives Product Innovations

The new Explore+ platform is another major highlight. It offers enterprise-grade analytics, allowing for unlimited searches, advanced governance, and broad data coverage across social and editorial media. Explore+ is designed for marketing, communications, and research teams looking to break down silos and streamline decision-making.

The brand has also expanded its listening and analytics capabilities to cover online platforms like Snapchat, TikTok, Bluesky, and Threads. The platform is designed to help customers monitor and respond to trends across the channels their audiences frequent most.

Meltwater’s enhanced relationship management tools support more effective PR and influencer engagement, using AI to centralise tracking, build richer audience profiles, and foster more personalised, trust-based outreach.
