Prominent accounting and business advisory firm Malloch McClean has officially joined the +MORE group. This strategic move allows the company to enhance its “service offerings, and leverage a national network to benefit clients and team members.”
“Our name has changed to Malloch McClean +MORE, but our people, ownership, and philosophy remain as you’ve come to know us,” the company shared on its website.
Founded in Southland in 1933, and with branches in Invercargill and Gore, Malloch McClean employs a team of 70 professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality service to their clients. Despite the name change, the team and the firm will remain under the same local ownership.
“We knew that we wanted to protect our local ownership and team and remain close to our clients. The +MORE Group share the same values and already have other firms in the North Island, so we were able to see how the network is operating and the benefits it can provide our team and clients,” Malloch McClean chief executive Blair Evans said.
Evans further mentioned that the company has been working with +MORE for the past 12 months, and the decision was made after thorough consideration.
“Our clients will experience the advantages of working with us while knowing our team has direct access to national resources.
“In a competitive market, this partnership supports talent retention and development, offering training and capability development beyond what a single firm can provide,” he added.
By joining a national network of accounting and advisory firms, Malloch McClean can now offer clients access to a broader range of expertise and specialised services. The collaboration allows the firm to tap into shared resources, resulting in more efficient service delivery and improved client outcomes.
