L’Authentique is recalling a specific batch of its Chicken & Duck Parfait due to a lapse in food safety controls.
The Ministry for Primary Industries said the parfait with a use-by date of 24/08/26 is affected by the recall. The 100-gram glass jar of parfait is sold at supermarkets and other retailers across New Zealand.
MPI confirmed that the product has not been exported.
The organisation urges customers to check the date mark on the product lid and warns that the affected item should not be consumed.
“There have been no reports of associated illness. However, if you have consumed any of this product and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice,” MPI said.
“Customers should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.”
Retailers selling the parfait must download the recall notice and display it in-store for one month.
