Business insurance buying and comparison site BizCover has launched the newest round of its small business grant competition, BizGiver.
It offers a $2,000 grant as the prize.
The competition runs from February 3 to March 3, 2026, and is open to any New Zealand small business—no BizCover customer status is required to enter.
To enter, participants need to create a one-minute video discussing their business and how the grant will help improve it.
Previous BizGiver winner Maddi Parker, owner of Live Well Massage & Naturopathy, secured the grant in September 2025. She used it to buy an adjustable-height hydraulic massage table, enabling services for elderly clients, pregnant individuals, and those with limited mobility.
“All my clients have been super excited, and I think they all know how supportive it is for me long term,” Parker said.
Beyond the $2,000 grand prize grant, BizGiver serves as a platform for SMEs to promote their businesses across channels and attract new customers.
