AIA NZ appoints Neil Marolia as Head of Brand and Marketing

Insurance company AIA NZ announces the appointment of Neil Marolia as Head of Brand and Marketing. 

The appointment took effect on 9 January 2026.

“Neil brings a unique mix of strategic thinking, creativity and both New Zealand and global brand experience. His track record in transforming brand engagement and leading high-performing teams will be a tremendous asset as we continue to strengthen our brand presence and improve outcomes for our customers, advisers and communities,” AIA NZ Chief Product & Marketing Officer Alex Kühnast said.

Marolia will spearhead AIA NZ’s brand and marketing strategy, strengthen the company’s creativity and innovation, and ensure the alignment with AIA’s purpose of pushing Kiwis to live better lives.

He previously spent five years at Fidelity Life, most recently as Head of Marketing & Engagement, where he led initiatives in brand, marketing, customer voice, and events.

Marolia also spent seven years at American Express in Global Advertising and Brand Management, crafting international brand strategies across 150 markets and spearheading global campaigns for products like the Platinum Card and Shop Small.
